Essence
Temperance blends. It takes two things that should not go together and finds the proportion in which they do — the workable middle, arrived at by care rather than by compromise. Virgo supplies the precision: this energy notices the small wrong quantity, the half-degree of excess, and corrects it without announcing that it has.
Its element sits between air and earth, thought and application, which is where it prefers to work. It is passive and magnetic: it does not impose, it adjusts, and situations settle around it. The logic is patient and the plane spiritual — the healing it does is real but slow. Forty-four days is its rhythm, long enough for something to genuinely mix.
