Transformation ends one thing so another can begin. This energy is unsentimental about what has finished and can close a chapter cleanly, which makes it a good companion in a crisis; resisted, it clings to the form long after the life has gone out of it.

Essence
Transformation ends things. Pluto gives it depth and no sentimentality; fire gives it the nerve to act.
